Take a look at the Shangri-La artists, including Stanley Donwood, Ben Eine, Paul Insect and Carl Cashman
Located at the festival’s South East corner is the living and breathing mini-city within the Brigadoon which is known as Glastonbury Festival. We are obviously talking about the legendary Shangri-La which amongst other things, is well known for its embellished political themes and extraordinary production.
Every year Shangri-La adopts a different theme. This year’s theme was based on the premise of ‘Re-cycle, Re-Use, Re-sist’.
Now, you finally have the chance to check out the mind-blowing Shangri-La artists who are responsible for all those ‘little’ world wonders and everything behind the Shangri-La world.
This weekend Shangri-La will be showcasing their featured artists and bringing the vibes to The Other Art Fair at the Truman Brewery. Chris Hopewell and Stanley Donwood will be live screen printing, there will be workshops with Carrie Reichardt and… it wouldn’t be party without some live music!
