Row Mead
Looking at the new Glastonbury map for 2024 (shown below), it appears that Row Mead has now permanently ceased to function as a public camping area — The ‘Elton extension’ from 2023 saw this section cordoned off for the 2023 Festival as a very late decision confirmation from the campsite crew.
Wedged between Michael Eavis’ Worthy Farm (to the north), the Pyramid Stage (to the south), Big Ground (to the east) and Hawkwell (to the west) – Row Mead was relatively a small camping field compared to the rest.
Its close proximity to the main arena made it particularly popular with those who like to spend most of their time at and around the Pyramid Stage area, as you are positioned at its doorstep, so to speak.
However, if you did happen to have the chance and camped here when it was active in the past, you know this field used to fill up rather quickly from the early hours of the Wednesday, as well as get extremely busy.

Pros & Cons
Pros
Ideal if your line-up schedule revolves heavily around the Pyramid Stage.
Play your cards right and you might just get to watch the acts at the Pyramid Stage right from the comfort of your tent.
With Worthy Farm HQ being north of this field and Michael Eavis just a stone’s throw away – you are bathing in the presence of legends.
Cons
Fills up rather quickly.
At peak hours this patch can get extremely busy.
