The third wave of tickets for Glastonbury’s 50 anniversary was released exclusively for local residents and has now sold out
Full weekend and Sunday Glastonbury 2020 tickets were released today (Sunday, October 27) for local residents from 9am in three instalments.
The first instalments took place from 9am and included “full weekend tickets for inner zone only”, followed by “full weekend tickets for inner & outer zones” at 10am, and “Sunday tickets for Mendip and central Somerset residents” which were made available shortly after at 11am.
Residents that live nearby to the Festival site at Pilton (and that have previously registered with Glastonbury Festival) were eligible for a special batch of ‘local tickets’.
Full weekend tickets for inner zone only went on sale at 9am and were all gone by 9:14am.
Full weekend tickets for inner & outer zones went on sale at 10am and were all gone by 10:12am.
Sunday tickets for Mendip and central Somerset residents went on sale at 11am and were all gone by 11:22.
The Festival organisers broke the news on the official Glastonbury website – stating that “TICKETS HAVE NOW SOLD OUT”.
Despite the fact that the full line-up for Glastonbury 2020 has yet to be released – all tickets for the Festival’s 50th anniversary have already sold out, with General Admission tickets selling out in 33 minutes, following Coach + Ticket Packages which sold out in just 27 minutes.
There will be a resale of any cancelled tickets in the spring, with coach + ticket packages going up for resale on April 16 – followed by a general admission tickets resale (which don’t include travel) on April 19.
Glastonbury 2020 will take place at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset – from Wednesday 24th to Sunday 28th June.
