“An Evening With Eavis” – Glastonbury’s Michael Eavis is scheduled to speak at a unique Bath Boules Week event this month which is set to feature “special guests”
Still got the Glasto “Fallow Year” Blues? How about an entire evening with none other than Worthy Farm legend, Michael Eavis, to soften the blow and celebrate everything Glastonbury.
The Bath Boules Week set for this month (June 2018) is the largest charity event seen in Bath, and 2018 is geared to be the biggest one yet as it features a remarkable line-up of events.
This much-loved event brings together local residents, visitors, businesses and charities in Bath through a French game and a lot of fun, all in the aid of raising money for local causes.
“An Evening With Eavis” is set to take place on Tuesday, June 12, from 18:30 – 23:00, and will feature a talk with the Glastonbury Festival founder and creator, Michael Eavis.
The Glasto celebration event will be infused with music, clips from the festival, delicious street food and special guests! As if all that isn’t enough, there will also be a special screening of the Julien Temple film, Glastonbury.
Every year the Bath Boules raises thousands of pounds for local charities. A staggering £50,235 was raised In 2017. Several thousand people came for fun-in-the-sun, and more than 500 companies were involved.
The fundraiser event is a terrific excuse for partying, spending time with friends, family and colleagues, networking and having a few drinks and delicious food.
