Interpol spark rumours of a possible Worthy Farm appearance as they announce they’ll be playing in Leeds and Brighton just days before Glastonbury 2019
Interpol have announced details of two new UK live dates, at a time which looks conspicuously close to a certain Glastonbury Festival.
Taking place just days before Glastonbury 2019, the NYC trio will play at Leeds’ O2 Academy on 25th June, and Brighton Dome the following night, 26th June.
Fans of the band are now speculating as to whether a Worthy Farm performance is imminent, with the this year’s Glastonbury Festival taking place between June 26 and 30 at Worthy Farm, Pilton.
In other Glasto news, Paul McCartney has recently been ruled out as a rumoured headliner for Glastonbury 2019 due to new US dates being announced, while Foals said they “would love to” play Glastonbury in a recent interview to BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac.
Although the line-up will probably not be unveiled by the festival’s officials until the end of March / beginning of April, you can check out the latest Glastonbury 2019 confirmed headliners & line-up rumours roundup HERE.
