Last round of Glastonbury 2019 resale tickets sell out in just 12 minutes

The resale of General Admission Tickets took place this morning for the festival in June

Standard tickets for Glastonbury 2019 were released this morning (Sunday, April 28th) at 9am and were all gone before 9.15am.

Seetickets posted the tweet below, breaking the news at 9.12 am saying: “All resale tickets for 2019 @GlastoFest are now SOLD OUT”

The festival organisers followed by confirming that tickets had sold out saying: “This morning’s resale tickets have now all been sold. Our thanks to everyone who bought one, and sorry to those of you who missed out.”

Festival organisers chose not to announce the exact number of tickets going on resale this month – that being said, while speaking to BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley days before the resales, Emily Eavis said: “Obviously, it has been a bit of a scramble and that often happens after a year off. – “We haven’t got loads to sell, so I think we should probably let people know that now, but it’s always really worth a go. We don’t want to put people off.”

Ticket and coach packets for the festival went on resale last week and sold out in just 23 minutes.
