Festival organisers chose not to announce the exact number of tickets going on resale this month – that being said, while speaking to BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley days before the resales, Emily Eavis said: “Obviously, it has been a bit of a scramble and that often happens after a year off. – “We haven’t got loads to sell, so I think we should probably let people know that now, but it’s always really worth a go. We don’t want to put people off.”
Ticket and coach packets for the festival went on resale last week and sold out in just 23 minutes.
Glastonbury 2019 is set to be headlined by Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure with the likes of Tame Impala, Miley Cyrus, George Ezra and Kylie Minogue also on the bill.
Glastonbury 2019 runs between June 26 and 30 at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.
