Theatre & Circus line-up highlights revealed for Glastonbury 2019

Three beautiful fields of wonder, filled with dazzling entertainment and amazing spectacle, set right in the heart of the festival…

The Theatre & Circus is the fifth area to announce its line-up headlights for Glastonbury 2019, following The Kidzfield, The Common, Silver Hayes and Field of Avalon‘s announcements earlier this month.

Taking to the social medias earlier today (April 30), Glastonbury Festival revealed the line-up poster headlights for this year’s Theatre & Circus area and by doing so adding even more acts to the ever-growing 2019 roster.

The Theatre & Circus area will be returning to Worthy Farm this year and feature nearly 400 acts presenting 1,500 shows spread across three beautiful fields of wonder.

Amongst the names featured on the 2019 T&C line-up are Yuck Circus, Jonathan Pie, Nish Kumar, Nina Conti, Paul Foot, Puppetry of the Penis, ‘As a Tiger in the Jungle’ produced by Ali Williams, Cirkus Xant, Lemn Sissay, John Hegley and Joe Sellman-Leava. See the list list below.

The Theatre & Circus fields is definitely an area not to be missed with there being SO much to see and do at this amazing spectacle – As the statement from the festival reads: “Even if you don’t make it in to any of the tented venues, there is still so much to see and do at Theatre and Circus, like the thrill of having a go on the flying trapeze, popping up to our viewing platform, Tor View Lookout, for a unique perspective on the festival and the iconic Glastonbury Tor in the distance, or just take the weight off your feet and enjoy some of the many strolling performances that Theatre and Circus are famous for.”

Following the last round of resale tickets which took place on Sunday, April 28 – all Glastonbury 2019 tickets have now sold out. That being said, you might still be in with a chance to go to this year’s festival by entering these competitions.

Glastonbury 2019 runs between June 26 and 30 at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.
