Block9 line-up revealed for Glastonbury 2019


Now comprised of two adjacent fields – Block9 East and Block9 West – with a brand new venue known as IICON

Block9 is the sixteenth major area / stage to announce its line-up for Glastonbury 2019 – following Arcadia, The Park, Unfairground, Pilton PalaisCroissant NeufLeft FieldAcoustic Stage, West Holts, The Glade, Shangri-La, Theatre & Circus, The Kidzfield, The Common, Silver Hayes and Field of Avalon‘s announcements over the past weeks.

As co-founders Gideon Berger and Stephen Gallagher teased late last year – Block9 will be doubling in size, the late-night hub will return to Worthy Farm this summer with an additional field. A brand-new creation named IICON, alongside Genosys and NYC Downlow which will see a Janet Jackson tribute on the Friday night (June 28), in addition to appearances from the likes of Larry Heard, The Black Madonna, Erick Morillo, HAAI, Josh Wink and many more across Block9’s multiple sites. New for 2019 the Block9 area now comprises two adjacent fields – Block9 East and Block9 West – according to Glastonbury’s official website it will create “a space which is three times bigger and badder and chock-full of jaw-dropping artworks, underground music and extremely alternative performance.”

Following the last round of resale tickets which took place on Sunday, April 28 – all Glastonbury 2019 tickets have now sold out. That being said, you might still be in with a chance to go to this year’s festival by entering these competitions.

Glastonbury 2019 runs between June 26 and 30 at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.
