Chromeo hint at Glastonbury 2019 appearance

Could Glastonbury 2019 finally see Chromeo take to the stage following their cancelled appearance back in 2014?

Chromeo have just teased at a potential appearance at next year’s Glastonbury Festival, as the Canadian duo gear up for the release of their new album ‘Head Over Heels’.

Replying on Twitter to a question regarding the chances of a Glastonbury 2019 appearance, Chromeo replied that the chances are: “very high“.

The band was initially set for a 2014 performance but ended up pulling out due to a ‘scheduling conflict’ and were later replaced by Twin Atlantic. The boogie/alt funk dance duo have yet to step wellie at Worthy Farm since.

This year is set to be a fallow year for the festival, which means there is no Glasto in 2018 in order to allow the grounds and wildlife of Worthy Farm to recover.

Glastonbury Festival is set to return to Worthy Farm Wednesday, June 26, 2019, and run till Sunday, June 30 – at the time of publishing, Mike Pickering’s Hacienda Classical is the sole act confirmed for 2019 so far, after Pickering dropped the news on Radio X back in December.

There have yet to be any headline confirmations for Glastonbury Festival 2019 as of this moment. That being said, as every year, the Glasto Rumour Mill starts spinning almost instantaneously.
