Co-op is once again giving its members the opportunity to win one of ten pairs of tickets for next year’s sold-out Glastonbury Festival.
The legendary Pilton-held event returns next year and will run from the 25th to the 29th of June in Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.
All you have to do to be in with a winning chance is sign up as a Co-op member for £1 (via website or app, if you haven’t already), before purchasing a block of Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar Cheese (in-store or online), and scan or enter your membership card at checkout.
The prize draw (exclusively available for Co-op Members) runs from 00:00 on Wednesday, 20th November 2024 through to 23:59 on Tuesday, 10th December 2024. The winners will then be drawn at random on 13th December 2024 and notified by Co-op via email within 7 working days of the prize draw — as stated in the full Terms and Conditions.
This competition opportunity comes on the heels of a swift Glastonbury 2025 ticket sell-out which took place earlier this month, when General Admission tickets sold out in only 35 minutes on Sunday (17th November), after Ticket Plus Coach Travel packages, were all snapped up in just 32 minutes last Thursday (14th November).
The award-winning cheddar – made from milk from the Worthy Farm herd and created at the home of Glastonbury Festival – first launched in 2022, as a collaboration between Somerset’s Worthy Farm and Wyke Farms, known for having a cultivated, well-established reputation for sustainable farmhouse cheese making.
Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis revealed the planned cheese back in May of 2020, during an interview with Ring O’Bells Radio’s Miles Leonard for Isolation Station.
In the interview, concurring with the fact that he sees himself as a farmer first and foremost, and then a festival organiser second, the award-winning dairy farmer was asked about the farm’s milk & cheese production, to reveal that with the help from a couple of local farms, the milk produced at Worthy Farm will be turned into “a festival cheese”.
Before that, in 2019, Co-op was selected as Glastonbury Festival’s first-ever retail partner and established a bespoke, fully operational 6,000-square-foot food store at the festival.
Eavis said at the time: “About 100 years ago, my grandfather decided to make the milk at Worthy Farm into Caerphilly cheese. Now, after 50 years of our recent festival history, our farm milk is being made into cheese once again by Wyke Farms and will be sold exclusively at Co-op stores across the UK.
“We’re thrilled that we can work together as a collective, with Co-op and Wyke Farms, to bring this tasty reserve cheddar to households across the UK.”
Joanne Wadsworth, Co-op cheese buyer, said: “Co-op is well-known for its support of British farmers and producers, plus our ongoing relationship and shared values with the Glastonbury Festival make our stores the perfect home for Worthy Farm Reserve Cheddar.”

Other Opportunities
With both the main ticket sales now out of the way, apart from the upcoming local & Sunday ticket sale, the next option to bag tickets to Glastonbury 2025 will be when the resale of any unpaid and/or cancelled tickets takes place in the Spring of 2025 (around April time).

⏰ 10am – Full Weekend Tickets

⏰ 11am – Sunday Tickets

Generally speaking, before fans can anticipate getting in the online queue once a sale/resale goes live, it’s imperative to register in order to be able to access tickets. In an effort to prevent touting, tickets for Glastonbury Festival are non-transferable, meaning that each person’s ticket is linked with the name, address and photo they provide when registering.
Anyone aged 13 or over who wants to attend the Festival must register online before tickets go on sale, as a registration number will be needed when purchasing tickets and before the deposit can be paid. That said, those aged 12 or younger when gates open for the event in 2025 don’t need a ticket, and therefore do not need to register.
As in previous years, registration remains free of charge and only takes a few minutes at glastonburyregistration.co.uk. If you have already registered in the past and would like to check if your existing registration is still valid, you can do so here.
In addition to the upcoming ticket resales, some other opportunities for getting to Glastonbury include volunteering and working at the Festival, as well as entering competitions (once those options make themselves available).
Although the above-mentioned Co-op Members competition is currently the only running contest to try and win next year’s event, we expect many more competitions to open up in the coming weeks and months in the build-up to the next edition of Glastonbury Festival.
Some past chances for winning tickets in previous years included opportunities from Brothers Cider, The Guardian, Vodafone, Time Out, White Claw, Tony’s Chocolonely & Oxfam, Chilly’s, Hunter Boots, Barbour & Oxfam, Co-op & Brooklyn Pilsner, and more.

⚠️ Bogus Operators
Glastonbury Festival would very much like fans to be aware that there are people out there who will try and sell fake Glastonbury tickets to unsuspecting, willing and innocent potential purchasers. Although Glasto-veterans who have been going to the Festival for quite some time may recognise these scams for what they are, newcomers might not.
Please do not risk falling victim to touts, bogus operators or fake promotions / contests. If you have doubts about any company offering tickets, accommodation or competitions to access Glastonbury Festival, please get in touch with the Festival office – And as always, remember that tickets are sold only on one site, which is glastonbury.seetickets.com

Other News
As with every Glastonbury-year, speculation about who might play the legendary festival is always very high, and with the 2025 event fast approaching, the Glasto Rumour Mill is already spinning in full force.
Although no acts have been Officially Confirmed for the Glastonbury 2025 line-up as of this moment in time, some prominent headliner names currently making the rumour rounds include Olivia Rodrig and Sam Fender, to name a few.
Despite the first line-up poster not usually being revealed until the beginning of March, followed by the full line-up announcement sometime at the end of May (and a string of individual area line-up announcements in between), there are many artists who ‘self-confirm’ before the official announcements by divulging the news via interviews, social media or website listings to accompany the ever-growing rumours.
