Following the full line-up announcement, including stage splits and times from earlier this week, the Festival has now released the official Glastonbury 2025 app — “packed full of even more exciting features to help you plan your ultimate Festival experience”.
Festival-goers heading to Glastonbury 2025 can look forward to an even more connected experience thanks to a revamped Official Glastonbury Festival App, now live and powered by Vodafone. Designed to keep friends and families in sync across Worthy Farm’s sprawling 900 acres, the latest version introduces clever new tools like live location sharing and step count tracking, ensuring you don’t miss a beat—or a mate—this summer.
🔧 Returning and Upgraded Features
- Spotify integration offers personalised artist recommendations.
- Shared Line-Ups now auto-update, making it easier to coordinate plans.
- ‘Add to Favourites’ lets users shortlist must-see acts.
- An upgraded map search tool helps fans locate food stalls, merch, campsites and more.
- Map Pinning helps find your tent (or that legendary falafel stand).
- Smart scheduling alerts fans when artist set times overlap.
🎉 What’s New in 2025?
This year’s headline addition is live location sharing, allowing users to track and reunite with friends across the busy site — whether they’ve snagged a great spot for Dua Lipa at the Pyramid Stage or wandered off for a legendary vegan burger.
Another standout feature is step count tracking, now built into the popular ‘My Highlights’ post-Festival wrap. Festival-goers can compare their steps to see who covered the most ground—or who danced the longest—over the long weekend.
But the innovation doesn’t stop at convenience. Vodafone has tied this new feature to a meaningful initiative: for every average step count logged by attendees, the company will match it with a donation through its everyone.connected campaign — up to a generous 75,000 donations. These contributions will help provide connectivity, devices and digital skills to underserved communities across the UK.
The application, created by Vodafone – and which can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play Store – is the only official app for the event and gives music fans the chance to stay connected with the latest live Festival updates, while navigating their way around the 1000-acre site and creating their own personalised line-ups to share and more.

🌐 Supercharged Connectivity for 2025
Vodafone, dubbed The Nation’s Network, is boosting its award-winning infrastructure to deliver its highest-ever on-site network capacity. After seeing over 225 terabytes of data consumed during Glastonbury 2024, the upgrade ensures festival-goers and fans at home can stay connected in real-time.
“We know the app plays a big role in the Festival experience,” said Maria Koutsoudakis, Vodafone UK’s Chief Brand Officer.
“This year, we’ve gone even further to make sure fans can stay close to friends and get the most out of Glastonbury—while also giving back to communities through everyone.connected.”
Vodafone’s Connect & Charge tent (located opposite Left Field, and which can be found using the interactive in-app map) will also keep Festival-goers powered up and connected with free phone charging and WiFi available from 8am to 10pm on Thursday through to Sunday as they did last year.
People will also have the option of purchasing fully charged mobile battery packs before and during the Festival, which can be exchanged daily for a fully charged one at Vodafone’s Connect & Charge — with additional exchange stations situated nearer to the campsites to make it more accessible for people at this year’s Festival. For every pack purchased, Vodafone will donate a pre-loaded SIM card to a local charity in Somerset, offering Glastonbury-goers a way to give back to the community.
Plus, you can rent a battery pack here. Simply collect on site at one of Vodafone’s Connect & Charge locations and exchange once a day for a fully charged one for free. All you need to remember is your charging cable. At the end of the Festival, you can head back to return your battery pack and get your deposit back, or simply keep the pack to use again.
There are two battery exchange points where you can purchase or exchange a battery pack. One is located opposite San Remo on the way to Woodsies, and the other is in Worthy View.

Vodafone UK is a major technology communications provider serving over 18 million mobile and broadband customers. With 4G coverage across 99% of the UK and a growing 5G network, Vodafone has a strong track record of innovation and community impact. Sustainability is also central to its mission, with 100% of its UK grid electricity sourced from renewables since 2021.
In 2023, Vodafone announced a multi-year partnership with Glastonbury as the ‘Festival’s Official Connectivity Partner’ and replaced EE, which, up until 2022, was the event’s technology partner for the seventh year running.
As the Official Connectivity Partner, Vodafone has exclusive rights to the Festival and will use its network to deliver innovative experiences using cutting-edge technology throughout the partnership.
The British multinational telecom company’s network is said to be boosted to the highest capacity ever, “making it super reliable” to keep friends and families connected, whether they’re on-site in Somerset or watching from home — With data consumption hitting more than 169 terabytes in 2023, fast and reliable connectivity is more important than ever in order to keep fans connected to their friends and family, whether they’re watching from home or at the iconic Worthy Farm.
Along with hosting push notifications alerting users to announcements and live Festival updates, users of the new application will also be able to access Glastonbury’s on-site radio station, Worthy Farm FM, directly via the app — while providing essential information and entertainment for those travelling to and from the Festival as well as once they are on site.

🗺️ New 2025 Festival Map Released
On 17th May, the first public version of the Glastonbury 2025 map dropped on the official website, complete with updates and changes for this year’s edition.
Some of the changes include more space for the Other Stage field, which means a scale back for the adjoining Oxylers campsite. Elsewhere, public camping space has decreased in Bushy Ground, South Park 2, and Pennards — unlike Pylon Ground, where it has increased. The reduction has made way for more staff camping in Bushy and South Park 2, as well as expanded family camping in Wicket and Cockmill fields.

⛺ Camping Guide
When camping at Glastonbury Festival, remember, each campsite has its pluses and minuses, and every person has their varied wants and needs — it’s not a “one size fits all” scenario.
Your Glastonbury ticket price includes access to all the camping fields, which means you can choose to pitch your tent anywhere within the designated camping zones that reside throughout the Festival fields, spanning from right next to the Pyramid Stage, to more tranquil areas on the outskirts of the Festival.

🎒 Packing List
The backpack room is tight, and that space is at a premium – If you can’t carry or wheel it in, it’s not coming in, and therefore, preparation is key.
There’s far more to surviving a Glastonbury than just tossing up the tent and placing down the sleeping bag, it’s the minute details that will help you survive the weekend.

🎟️ Ticket Opportunities
Although all tickets have already sold out, there is currently still one competition running for the chance of winning Glastonbury 2025 tickets from Tony’s Chocolonely ticket competition.
The final batch of General Admission tickets for the 2025 Glastonbury Festival sold out in just 19 minutes last month, after going on sale at 9am on Sunday, 27th April.
Keeping with tradition, only pre-registered buyers could access the online sales as part of Glastonbury’s continued drive against ticket touting.
Hundreds of thousands of Glasto-fans were up bright and early, ready at their computer screens in the second of two ticket resales for the chance of buying tickets for Glastonbury 2025 — after tickets completely sold out when they originally went up for sale last November.
Last November saw the first main wave of tickets, which included tickets packaged with coach travel selling out in just 32 minutes, before General Admission tickets were all snapped up in 35 minutes.
