Emily Eavis rules out some of the biggest rumours for Glastonbury 2019

After taking it’s traditional year off in 2018 (also known as a ‘fallow year’) to give the fields and local community a rest, Glastonbury Festival is returning to Worthy Farm from June 26-30, 2019.

Even though the line up has yet to be announced – over 100,000 General Admission Tickets for Glastonbury 2019 were released at 9am and were all gone before 10.30am at last week’s ticket sale (Sunday, October 7th) – this, following Thursday’s swift rush for the initial smaller batch of 15,000 coach + ticket packages.

As every pre-Glastonbury year, the Glasto Rumour Mill goes into overdrive pretty swiftly as Glasto-goers and bookies alike try to second guess who will be taking the Pyramid Stage by storm on the three main nights of the Worthy Farm Festival.

Speaking at an event in Taunton last night (Thursday, October 11th), Emily Eavis has now allegedly ruled out three of the biggest tipped headliners.

Festival fan account The Glasto Thingy reported that Emily Eavis said that they had NOT booked Madonna, Fleetwood Mac or a miraculously reunited Led Zeppelin.

Eavis also revealed that there will be more space in the south-east area of the Pilton site, as well as ‘improvements’ to The Park, Arcadia and Silver Hayes.

We can expect the first main line-up to be announced sometime around March next year, before cancelled tickets become available in April resale.
