The second day of music from the main stages and the fourth day of the Festival
Glastonbury is back after three long years, as earlier this week, on Wednesday, the 22nd of June, the Festival finally opened its gates in what was a very emotional start to the Festival.
Thursday followed suit and kept energies high as thousands more Glasto-goers arrived on site – despite the continued rail strikes and thunderstorm warnings from Met Office.
Friday saw the main stages open and featured performances from the likes of Foals, The Libertines, Sam Fender, St Vincent, IDLES, Blossoms, Sigrid, Phoebe Bridgers and Primal Scream – with a headline set on the Pyramid Stage from Billie Eilish which made history as the youngest ever solo artist to headline the Festival, at only 20 years old.
Today, Saturday, the 25th of June, will feature another historic moment when Paul McCartney takes to the Pyramid Stage at 9:30pm – which will subsequently make him the oldest Glastonbury headliner at 80 years young.
Also on today’s line-up are Metronomy (Other Stage – 3:45pm), Haim (Pyramid Stage – 5:30pm), Caribou (West Holts – 7:00pm), Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds (Pyramid Stage – 7:15pm) and Mitski (Park Stage – 9:15pm) – before Roisin Murphy headlines the West Holts stage at 10:15pm and Jamie T headlines the John Peel Stage at 10:30pm.
For those not at Farm, BBC has you covered with wall-to-wall coverage and will continue live streaming hours of live music from the main stages so you can enjoy the Festival from the comfort of your home – more on this below.
