Glastonbury Festival’s Pilton Party 2020 auditions are now open

Glastonbury’s ‘thank you’ fundraiser show for the locals is open for submissions

Pilton Party takes place at Worthy Farm on the first Friday evening in September.

The Glastonbury Festival event is a “thank you “ fundraising gig for the villagers, workers and local people of the Glastonbury Festival area and is attended by approx 7000 people each year.

Past headliners have included Wolf Alice, Liam Gallagher, Fatboy Slim, Foals, Florence and the Machine and Paulo Nutini.

Each year Michael Eavis offers the opportunity of a support slot for unsigned bands and solo artists playing their own original material to play alongside the headliners at the Pilton Party.


The Pilton Party Auditions 2020 is this year’s opportunity to play at the Pilton Party; 15 bands/solo artists will be invited to take part, with 3 preliminary auditions 0f 5 bands/solo artists from which 6 of those bands/solo artists will play at the final audition – all auditions will be held at the Pilton Club, Pilton.

Michael Eavis who is judging the auditions and final will select at least 1 artist from the final audition to play this year’s Pilton Party.
