Local & Sunday tickets for the 2025 Glastonbury Festival have now completely sold out, after going on sale this morning (Sunday, 24th November) at 9am.
As always, Festival founder Michael Eavis, his daughter and Festival organiser Emily Eavis, and the team, once again held back some full weekend tickets for local people as a second chance for those residents who were unsuccessful in the recent ticket sales.
Today’s sale was split into 3 parts, with the first portion taking place at 9am, when ‘full weekend tickets’ were made available solely for ‘inner zone residents’.
As opposed to the newly introduced queueing system which was implemented for the main ticket sales earlier this month, the local & Sunday ticket sale was conducted using the old familiar holding page process.
Some fans expressed their frustration with the See Tickets system after the dreaded “all available tickets have now been allocated” message (shown below) appeared abnormally fast at only 9:09am — despite there still being tickets left in the pot for the ‘outer zone residents’.

Other people who did not give up in the face of the red-worded message and pushed through, were finally successful in buying the golden ticket — before all ‘inner zone’ tickets sold out by 09:27am.

The sale then went into its second phase at 10am, opening up the option to buy full weekend tickets for both ‘inner & outer zone residents’ — which were all gone by 10:22am.

‘Sunday tickets for Mendip and central Somerset residents’ then went up for grabs at 11am and were all snapped up by 11:26am, when the infamous ‘Sold Out’ message confirming that “tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2025 are now sold out” appeared on the official Glastonbury website (as shown below).

The next sale to take place will be for Accommodation options – including campervans, tipis, Worthy View and Sticklinch pre-erected tents – which will be made available for ticket holders to book on 12 noon (GMT), Thursday 28th November [2024].
⚠️ Bogus Operators
Glastonbury Festival would very much like fans to be aware that there are people out there who will try and sell fake Glastonbury tickets to unsuspecting, willing and innocent potential purchasers. Although Glasto-veterans who have been going to the Festival for quite some time may recognise these scams for what they are, newcomers might not.
Please do not risk falling victim to touts, bogus operators or fake promotions / contests. If you have doubts about any company offering tickets, accommodation or competitions to access Glastonbury Festival, please get in touch with the Festival office – And as always, remember that tickets are sold only on one site, which is glastonbury.seetickets.com

Other Opportunities
In addition to the upcoming ticket resales, some other opportunities for getting to Glastonbury include volunteering and working at the Festival, as well as entering competitions (once those options make themselves available).
Although the Co-op Members competition is currently the only running contest to try and win next year’s event, we expect many more competitions to open up in the coming weeks and months in the build-up to the next edition of Glastonbury Festival.
Some past chances for winning tickets in previous years included opportunities from Brothers Cider, The Guardian, Vodafone, Time Out, White Claw, Tony’s Chocolonely & Oxfam, Chilly’s, Hunter Boots, Barbour & Oxfam, Co-op & Brooklyn Pilsner, and more.

Line-up & Rumours
As with every Glastonbury-year, speculation about who might play the legendary festival is always very high, and with the 2025 event fast approaching, the Glasto Rumour Mill is already spinning in full force.
Although no acts have been Officially Confirmed for the Glastonbury 2025 line-up as of this moment in time, some prominent headliner names currently making the rumour rounds include Olivia Rodrig and Sam Fender, to name a few.
Despite the first line-up poster not usually being revealed until the beginning of March, followed by the full line-up announcement sometime at the end of May (and a string of individual area line-up announcements in between), there are many artists who ‘self-confirm’ before the official announcements by divulging the news via interviews, social media or website listings to accompany the ever-growing rumours.
