The final batch of General Admission tickets for the 2025 Glastonbury Festival sold out in just 19 minutes this morning, after going on sale at 9am.
Today’s opportunity to buy tickets for this year’s Worthy Farm event comes on the heels of the first resale of tickets bundled with coach travel options, which took place last week (24th April) and sold out in just 32 minutes.
The legendary Pilton-held event returns this year and will run from the 25th to the 29th of June, with The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo as its headliners.
Keeping with tradition, only pre-registered buyers could access the two online sales as part of Glastonbury’s continued drive against ticket touting.
Hundreds of thousands of Glasto-fans were up bright and early, ready at their computer screens in the second of two ticket resales for the chance of buying tickets for Glastonbury 2025 — after tickets completely sold out when they originally went up for sale last November.
Last November saw the first main wave of tickets, which included tickets packaged with coach travel selling out in just 32 minutes, before General Admission tickets were all snapped up in 35 minutes.
The sale this morning was the fourth major time fans got to experience the new queueing system, which was announced earlier this month and replaces the manual “refresh” method used in previous years.
Rather than refreshing the holding page to attempt to access the booking page, this year, when the ticket sales began, everyone who was already on the glastonbury.seetickets.com page was randomly assigned a place in a queue to access the booking process.
Confirmations from successful buyers started appearing on the social media platform roughly fourteen minutes into the resale when one lucky fan announced: “Just copped for a ticket for Glastonbury 2025.”

Other fans, who weren’t so lucky, shared their unfortunate resale experience online, with one avid Glasto-goer saying: “I don’t mind queuing for the cider bus but this is a ballache”.
Half of the resale tickets for Glastonbury 2025 were sold within 10 minutes of the resale, with See Tickets – the company running ticket sales – posting a message to their official X account confirming that “the queue for remaining tickets is moving steadily”.
By 9:19am, the official Glastonbury X page announced that tickets for Glastonbury 2025 have now sold out, saying: “On a morning of incredible demand, all of the tickets in today’s resale have now been sold. Thank you to everyone who bought one, and sorry to those who missed out.”
See Tickets then posted a message reiterating that all tickets have sold out and confirming that “confirmation emails are going out now” to those who were successful in bagging the golden ticket.
After paying a £75 deposit towards their admission pass on Ticket Sale Day, ticket-holders had one week to pay for the remainder of their ticket balance – between 1st April and 7th April – or lose it and see it go back into the pot for resale.
Any tickets purchased in resales had to be paid for in full at the point of booking and cost £378.50, including a £5 booking fee per ticket (plus your coach fare if booking a coach ticket package).
For comparison’s sake, in 2024, the resale of Ticket + Coach Travel options sold out in 18 minutes, while the General Admission tickets were all gone in just 22 minutes.
As in previous years, the exact number of tickets in the resales will not be announced, but it is a very limited quantity.
A resale of Accommodation Options – including campervan tickets, Worthy View and Sticklinch accommodation – will go on sale to ticket holders today (Sunday, 27th April) at 11am (BST).
Other Opportunities
In addition to the ticket resales (mentioned above), some other opportunities for getting to Glastonbury include volunteering and working at the Festival, as well as entering competitions (once those options make themselves available).
Just recently, Brother Cider, who have once again been confirmed as the ‘Official Cider’ of Glastonbury Festival for 2025, announced that they are giving away 5 pairs of tickets to this year’s event.
Other chances for winning tickets to this year’s event include Vodafone, Chilly’s, Barbour & Oxfam, and more — as detailed in our daily updated list of Glastonbury competitions, here.

Latest Lineup
Woodsies was the seventh area to reveal its lineup for this year’s Festival last week (Thursday, 24th April), after Kidzfield, Croissant Neuf, Silver Hayes, West Holts, Field of Avalon, and the Acoustic Stage.
Although the full Glasto line-up doesn’t tend to get released until the end of May / beginning of June, this year, the first main line-up poster was announced on Thursday morning (6th March), in which it confirmed that headliners The 1975, (previously announced) Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo, will all be taking to the iconic Pyramid Stage on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th, and Sunday 29th of June, respectively.
Meanwhile, Rod Stewart (who, like Young, was announced before the lineup poster revelation) is set for this year’s coveted Sunday afternoon tea-time Legends slot, which, by many, has come to be seen as the fourth headliner slot of the event.
With less than 62 days to go until Glastonbury opens its gates for this summer’s event, we can expect more individual areas and stages to announce their dedicated line-ups over the coming weeks, before the full bill gets revealed in the buildup to this year’s Festival.
That said, there are many artists who ‘self-confirm’ before the official announcements by divulging the news via interviews, social media or website listings to accompany the ever-growing Glasto rumours.
