The Acoustic Stage is (once again) the first of many areas and stages to reveal its individual line-up ahead of this year’s Glastonbury Festival – adding another 29 acts and artists to the ever-growing bill.
Announcing the news via their social channels this morning (Saturday, 22nd March), at 9:59am, Glasto officials shared the first dedicated area poster, accompanied by the statement: “We begin our Glastonbury 2025 stage & area line-up announcements with the brilliant Acoustic Stage, the Festival’s home of blues, folk, contemporary and country music”.
The sold-out Glastonbury Festival is set to return this summer and runs from the 25th to the 29th of June 2025 in Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset – with The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo as its headliners.
Dubbed the “home to blues, folk, contemporary and country music”, for 2025, the Acoustic Stage will see Ani DiFranco, Nick Lowe, and Roy Harper top the bill at this year’s event, along with other favourites such as The Bootleg Beatles and many more – as shown in the poster below.

Back in early March, the Festival shared its first line-up poster for 2025, which revealed that the previously-announced Neil Young would be taking the Pyramid Stage with his live band The Chrome Hearts on Saturday night. He’ll headline alongside The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo on Friday and Sunday, respectively.
Meanwhile, Rod Stewart (who like Young was announced prior to the line-up poster revelation this morning) is set for this year’s coveted Sunday afternoon tea-time Legends slot — which by many, has come to be seen as the fourth headliner slot of the event
Elsewhere featured on the bill are Loyle Carner, Charli XCX, Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, RAYE, Wolf Alice, The Prodigy, Doechii, St. Vincent, Gary Numan, Deftones, Scissor Sisters, The Libertines, Wet Leg — and first-time appearances from Alanis Morissette, Doechii and En Vogue and more.

This isn’t the first time the Acoustic Stage is the first of many to be announced after the same stage was also the first to reveal its lin-up poster just last year for the 2024 edition of the Festival, on 12th April 2024.
The statement this morning is the second earliest individually dedicated area announcement, exceeded only by West Holts, which came on the 14th of March back, in 2023.
For the last thirty years or so, the Acoustic Field has been welcoming crowds trooping up the hill to hear acoustic, song-based music, or at times, simply to visit the sanctuary of the tent and avoid the rain or scorching sun – since it first made its debut at Glastonbury Festival in 1984.
Through the years, the Acoustic Stage has had the pleasure of welcoming such names as Ray Davies, Christy Moore, Joan Baez, Jackson Browne, The Waterboys, Robert Plant, The Moody Blues featuring… Michael Eavis, John Prine, Art Garfunkel, Kate & Anna McGarrigle, Keane and The Bootleg Beatles – which are back for this year’s event, amongst many others.
Below you can watch a short clip of the Bootleg Beatles performing on the Acoustic Stage in 2022 at Glastonbury Festival on the Sunday evening.

Ticket Opportunities
The Glastonbury 2025 Autumn ticket sales took place last November with the introduction of a new queueing system, which saw Ticket Plus Coach Travel packages and General Admission tickets sell out within 32 minutes and 40 minutes, respectively.
In addition to the upcoming ticket re-sales (expected to go on sale in the spring), some other opportunities for getting to Glastonbury include volunteering and working at the Festival, as well as entering competitions (once those options make themselves available).
Just recently Brother Cider, who have once again been confirmed as the ‘Official Cider’ of Glastonbury Festival for 2025, announced that they are giving away 5 pairs of tickets to this year’s event.
Some other chances for winning tickets in previous years included opportunities from The Guardian, Vodafone, Time Out, White Claw, Tony’s Chocolonely & Oxfam, Chilly’s, Hunter Boots, Barbour & Oxfam, Co-op & Brooklyn Pilsner, and more.
The sold-out Glastonbury Festival is set to return this summer and runs from the 25th to the 29th of June 2025 in Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.

⚠️ Bogus Operators
Glastonbury Festival would very much like fans to be aware that there are people out there who will try and sell fake Glastonbury tickets to unsuspecting, willing and innocent potential purchasers. Although Glasto-veterans who have been going to the Festival for quite some time may recognise these scams for what they are, newcomers might not.
Please do not risk falling victim to touts, bogus operators or fake promotions / contests. If you have doubts about any company offering tickets, accommodation or competitions to access Glastonbury Festival, please get in touch with the Festival office – And as always, remember that tickets are sold only on one site, which is glastonbury.seetickets.com
