With less than three months to go until the gates open for this year’s Glastonbury Festival, the individual area line-up announcements are coming in fast and strong.
This time, it’s the turn of the Croissant Neuf stage, which revealed its dedicated line-up poster for Glastonbury 2025 this morning (Wednesday, 9th April) at 10am.
Announcing the news via social media, Glastonbury officials said: “We’re pleased to announce this year’s line-up for Croissant Neuf, Glastonbury’s original solar-powered venue!”
❓ Did you know?
With a 1,000-people-capacity venue and state-of-the-art equipment, Croissant Neuf is now run singularly by Sally and at Glastonbury Festival becomes a joint family venture.
Andy (Sally’s ex-partner) powers much of the equipment with his huge solar rig alongside Steve of Wind & Sun – whilst Casey (Sally’s second son) is in charge of the sound, along with Maya (Sally’s daughter) who is an integral cog of the Croissant Neuf and Sally’s right hand, and Luke (Sally’s first son) who now is a freelance Sustainability Consultant and is always there to pick brains.
The Worthy Farm event, which this year will be held from June 25th to June 29th, has already confirmed a host of on-site line-up posters for its individual areas and stages — including the bills for the Acoustic Stage, Field of Avalon, West Holts, and most recently Silver Hayes —before the Croissant Neuf revelation today.

Firmly nestled just over the Old Railway line on the left of the main avenue, the oasis of Croissant Neuf field welcomes all to a glorious 5 days of solar-powered fun.
Keeping true to their ethos of a sustainable life and future, Glasto-goers can indulge in a plethora of off-grid solar-powered music, as well as a variety of stalls and exhibits — all dedicated to their core cause of The Environment, Climate Change, and Community with a shared love of our planet.
Some of the acts featured on the poster (shown below), which will be playing on the solar-powered stage this year, include Afrodelic, Banco de Gaia, Flo & Joan, Gemma Rogers, K.O.G, Rhythm of the 90s, and many more.

Croissant Neuf, within their modest ‘little’ Big Top – which runs Thursday evening to Sunday night – prides itself upon hosting some of the music industry’s best and upcoming newly founded gems, being a platform and major stepping stone to becoming magnificent, shining stars — Ed Sheeran being one of them! With a wealth of fabulous local bands, some from Bristol, the Neuf also have an eclectic mix of equal gender and multi-cultural genres from all over Britain and the world.
💡 Fun Fact
Croissant Neuf was born in 1986, when Sally Howell’s small troupe bought their marquee to Glastonbury Festival, where they mostly played music and ran an open mic stage as well as entertaining the crowds with colourful walkabout characters – To make ends meet they ran a small café serving mostly filled rolls, salad and of course… Croissants!
This venue was in the top corner of what is now the Craft Field and although then was mostly acoustic they ran the festoon lights and small amplifiers from their trucks which had one wind turbine and one solar panel to top up the batteries.
In contrast to Big Top, a great place to rest, relax and soak up the music before all the main stages kick off on Friday is Croissant Neuf’s Bandstand, which runs Wednesday noon to Sunday evening and is powered by Wind & Sun and by Brighton-based College of Music, WaterBear, student PA team – which will feature new talented WaterBear music students from Brighton, London and the countrywide, each day between 12:00 noon and 16:00.

💡 Fun Fact
In 1998 Croissant Neuf moved to the other side of the Green Field and teamed up with Wind & Sun Ltd to run a more powerful PA and in 1990 moved over the hedge into the top of what is now Green Futures Field.
Other Line-up News
With less than 80 days to go until Glastonbury opens its gates for this summer’s event next month, we can expect more individual areas and stages to announce their dedicated line-ups over the coming weeks before the full bill, including stage times, gets revealed sometime at the end of May.
Although the full Glasto line-up doesn’t tend to get released until the end of May, this year, the first main line-up poster was announced on Thursday morning (6th March), in which it confirmed that headliners The 1975, (previously announced) Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo, will all be taking to the iconic Pyramid Stage on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th, and Sunday 29th of June, respectively.
Meanwhile, Rod Stewart (who, like Young, was announced before the lineup poster revelation) is set for this year’s coveted Sunday afternoon tea-time Legends slot — which, by many, has come to be seen as the fourth headliner slot of the event.
That said, there are many artists who ‘self-confirm’ before the official announcements by divulging the news via interviews, social media or website listings to accompany the ever-growing Glasto rumours.

Ticket Opportunities
The Glastonbury 2025 Autumn ticket sales took place last November with the introduction of a new queueing system, which saw Ticket Plus Coach Travel packages and General Admission tickets sell out within 32 minutes and 40 minutes, respectively.
In addition to the upcoming ticket re-sales (expected to go on sale in the spring), some other opportunities for getting to Glastonbury include volunteering and working at the Festival, as well as entering competitions (once those options make themselves available).
Just recently, Brother Cider, who have once again been confirmed as the ‘Official Cider’ of Glastonbury Festival for 2025, announced that they are giving away 5 pairs of tickets to this year’s event.
Some other chances for winning tickets in previous years included opportunities from The Guardian, Vodafone, Time Out, White Claw, Tony’s Chocolonely & Oxfam, Chilly’s, Hunter Boots, Barbour & Oxfam, and more.
The sold-out Glastonbury Festival is set to return this summer and runs from the 25th to the 29th of June 2025 in Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.

⚠️ Bogus Operators
Glastonbury Festival would like fans to be aware that there are people out there who will try to sell fake Glastonbury tickets to unsuspecting, willing and innocent potential purchasers. Although Glasto-veterans who have been going to the Festival for quite some time may recognise these scams for what they are, newcomers might not.
Please do not risk falling victim to touts, bogus operators or fake promotions / contests. If you have doubts about any company offering tickets, accommodation or competitions to access Glastonbury Festival, please get in touch with the Festival office – and as always, remember: tickets are sold only on one site, which is glastonbury.seetickets.com
