The Field of Avalon is the second area to reveal its line-up for this year’s Glastonbury Festival, after the Acoustic Stage, which was announced just last week (22nd March).
After being held for the first time in two years in 2022 and returning in 2023 and most recently 2024 (following its forced cancellation in 2020 and 2021 due to the worldwide pandemic), the sold-out Somerset event will be back this summer, from June 25th to June 29th, 2025, in Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.
Announcing the news this morning (Tuesday, 25th March) at 10am sharp, Glastonbury officials shared the area’s lineup poster (shown below), adding a host of new names to the ever-growing bill — including Ash, Sam Ryder and The Big Moon.

Other musicians set to play Field of Avalon include Alabama 3, The Fratellis, The Amy Winehouse Band, Bear’s Den, Bess Atwell, Brooke Combe, FÜLÜ, Hard-Fi, The Horne Section, Jade Bird, Jamie Cullum, The Magic Numbers, Old Time Sailors, Orla Gartland, Paris Paloma, Rumba De Bodas, Stephen Wilson Jr., Talisk, Terrorvision, Tom Walker, and more.
Like an island in the sea of Glastonbury, the Field of Avalon maintains its unbroken connection to the earthy Eden. Once part of the Greenfields, it remains one of the original areas still visited by a diverse lineage of legendary musicians, artists and fellow pilgrims. Festival travellers come to rest their weary legs and recharge with a pint of ale, delicious food and some of the most eclectic musical programs on site.
When visiting the Field of Avalon area in 2024, Glasto-goers can expect “days of eclectic music representing the best in the world of contemporary, roots and folk music, a gender-equal line-up and intimate, never-forget Glastonbury moments”.

Lineup & Rumours
Although the full Glasto line-up doesn’t tend to get released until the end of May, this year, the first main line-up poster was announced on Thursday morning (6th March), in which it confirmed that headliners The 1975, (previously announced) Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo, will all be taking to the iconic Pyramid Stage on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th, and Sunday 29th of June, respectively.
Meanwhile, Rod Stewart (who, like Young, was announced before the lineup poster revelation) is set for this year’s coveted Sunday afternoon tea-time Legends slot — which, by many, has come to be seen as the fourth headliner slot of the event.
With less than 83 days to go until Glastonbury opens its gates for this summer’s event, we can expect more individual areas and stages to announce their dedicated line-ups over the coming weeks, before the full bill gets revealed sometime at the end of May in the buildup to this year’s Festival.
That said, there are many artists who ‘self-confirm’ before the official announcements by divulging the news via interviews, social media or website listings to accompany the ever-growing Glasto rumours.

Ticket Opportunities
The Glastonbury 2025 Autumn ticket sales took place last November with the introduction of a new queueing system, which saw Ticket Plus Coach Travel packages and General Admission tickets sell out within 32 minutes and 40 minutes, respectively.
In addition to the upcoming ticket re-sales (expected to go on sale in the spring), some other opportunities for getting to Glastonbury include volunteering and working at the Festival, as well as entering competitions (once those options make themselves available).
Just recently Brother Cider, who have once again been confirmed as the ‘Official Cider’ of Glastonbury Festival for 2025, announced that they are giving away 5 pairs of tickets to this year’s event.
Some other chances for winning tickets in previous years included opportunities from The Guardian, Vodafone, Time Out, White Claw, Tony’s Chocolonely & Oxfam, Chilly’s, Hunter Boots, Barbour & Oxfam, Co-op & Brooklyn Pilsner, and more.
The sold-out Glastonbury Festival is set to return this summer and runs from the 25th to the 29th of June 2025 in Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.

⚠️ Bogus Operators
Glastonbury Festival would very much like fans to be aware that there are people out there who will try and sell fake Glastonbury tickets to unsuspecting, willing and innocent potential purchasers. Although Glasto-veterans who have been going to the Festival for quite some time may recognise these scams for what they are, newcomers might not.
Please do not risk falling victim to touts, bogus operators or fake promotions / contests. If you have doubts about any company offering tickets, accommodation or competitions to access Glastonbury Festival, please get in touch with the Festival office – And as always, remember that tickets are sold only on one site, which is glastonbury.seetickets.com
