Another Glastonbury area has revealed its line-up ahead of this year’s Festival — this time it’s The Glade — with a spectacular spread of more than 70 acts and artists added to the ever-growing 2025 bill.

The legendary Pilton-held event is set to return this summer and will run from the 26th to the 30th of June in Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, with The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo as its headliners — ahead of the scheduled fallow year in 2026.

Announcing the news at 10am this morning (Wednesday, 30nd April), Glastonbury officials said in a message posted via their social channels: “At the Festival’s heart, amongst a canopy of trees, The Glade area returns for Glastonbury 2025 with a superb line-up of live acts and DJs exhibiting and blending electronic, world, and roots music.”

Today’s announcement comes just one day after Glasto organisers shared the line-up poster for Latin-themed area Glasto Latino on the 29th of April, which itself came on the heels of a string of announcements that were kicked off with the revelation of the first main line-up poster for the 2025 Festival in early March.

Other posters already released include Woodsies (24th April), Kidzfield (22nd April), Shangri-La (16th April), Croissant Neuf (9th April), Silver Hayes (3rd April), West Holts (27th March), Field of Avalon (25th March), and Acoustic Stage, which was the first area to be announced for 2025 on the 22nd of March.

As ever, 2025 will see The Glade area boast a superb line-up of DJs and live acts, playing eclectic grooves, electronic beats, reggae, dub and disco — featuring Shygirl, Leftfield, Skepta and Annie Mac, who will lead the Glade line-up, along with other acts set to perform “amongst a canopy of trees”, including Goldie, Carl Cox, The Orb, Daphni and Leon Vynehall (as shown in the posters below).

The Glade Area at Glastonbury has always danced to the beat of its own drum machine. Born in the mid-to-late ’90s from the eclectic spirit of the Field of Avalon, the Experimental Sound Field, and Lost Vagueness, it quickly established itself as the home of experimental electronic and roots music. Nestled along the central tree line, right at the heart of the festival, Glade has spent nearly three decades pushing sonic boundaries — and it’s still evolving.

Just like the trees that surround it, the Glade grows, adapts, and thrives. What began as a home for pioneering sounds now also champions today’s innovators, bridging generations of music lovers under leafy canopies and strobing lights.

As mentioned above, for 2025, the Glade main stage stays true to its roots while reaching for new heights. Expect groundbreaking live performances from legends like Leftfield, Goldie, Third World, Dele Sosimi, Max Cooper, A Guy Called Gerald, and Jungle Drummer. DJ royalty is also well represented, with sets from Carl Cox (joined by Eric Powell for his Funk & Soul show), Richie Hawtin, Don Letts, Channel One Sound System, Annie Mac, and house icon Marshall Jefferson.

The future-facing lineup doesn’t stop there. New-school heroes like Shygirl, Skepta, Joy Orbison, Sherelle, Amelie Lens, and Nabihah Iqbal will bring fresh energy to the forest dancefloor.

Meanwhile, the Glade Dome — Glade’s intimate, rave-ready sister stage — offers a hidden world of electronic alchemy. Tucked beneath a canopy of poplar trees, this immersive space will host sets from Daphni, Leon Vynehall, Shy One, DJ Seinfeld, IZCO, and Jamz Supernova. Drum and bass icons Calibre and Fabio + Grooverider join the mix, along with minimal house selectors Mathew Jonson, Margaret Dygas, and Dyed Soundorom.

The dub roots that helped shape Glade’s identity remain a key part of the lineup. Prince Fatty, Don Letts, and Liam Bailey will bring heavy basslines and uplifting vibrations to the stage, reminding everyone where the rhythm began.

When it’s time to recharge, The Treehouse bar offers a leafy drinking den where the tunes flow as freely as the pints. BBC Radio 6’s Tom Ravenscroft leads a stacked roster of exclusive DJ sets sure to keep the vibe high and the feet moving.

From day to night, dub to disco, experimental to euphoric — Glade 2025 promises a wild, wonderful ride through the past, present, and future of electronic music.

Lineup News

The first announcement line-up poster was revealed earlier this year (March 6th), confirming that headliners The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo will all take to the iconic Pyramid Stage on Friday, 27th, Saturday, 28th, and Sunday, 29th of June, respectively.

Rod Stewart was also announced as this year’s Sunday afternoon tea-time Legends slot performer. Other names featured in the ever-growing bill include Loyle Carner, Charli XCX, Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, RAYE, Wolf Alice, The Prodigy, Doechii, St. Vincent, Gary Numan, Deftones, Scissor Sisters, The Libertines, Wet Leg — and first-time appearances from Alanis Morissette, Doechii and En Vogue.

Now that the first poster has been revealed, going by previous years, we can expect the full line-up announcement sometime at the end of May / beginning of June, with a string of individual area line-up announcements in between.

As of the time of writing, 10 areas and stages have already announced their dedicated line-up posters for this year’s event, including today’s announcement from the Glade, as well as previous ones from Glasto Latino, Woodsies, Kidzfield, Shangri-La, Croissant Neuf, Silver Hayes, West Holts, Field of Avalon, and the Acoustic Stage.

That said, there are many artists who ‘self-confirm’ before the official announcements by divulging the news via interviews, social media or website listings to accompany the ever-growing Glasto rumours.

Build Progress

Meanwhile, with each passing day, in preparation for this year’s highly anticipated event, Worthy Farm is looking more and more like the world-famous Glastonbury Festival we all know and love.

The iconic Pyramid Stage finally began to get dressed this month (10th April), after the covers (which were dropped off days earlier and lying on the ground beside the iconic structure) were raised and cloaked over the Port side of the pyramid skeleton, as seen in the visual post below.

With gates to the public on the 25th of June, and as more containers carrying equipment continue to arrive on-site intermittently, we can expect the build to grow in intensity as more iconic stages and venues come to life once again to create the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world.

You can now continue following the build via the BBC Glastonbury webcam, here.

Ticket Opportunities

The final batch of General Admission tickets for the 2025 Glastonbury Festival sold out in just 19 minutes earlier this month, after going on sale at 9am on Sunday, 27th April.

Keeping with tradition, only pre-registered buyers could access the online sales as part of Glastonbury’s continued drive against ticket touting.

Hundreds of thousands of Glasto-fans were up bright and early, ready at their computer screens in the second of two ticket resales for the chance of buying tickets for Glastonbury 2025 — after tickets completely sold out when they originally went up for sale last November.

Last November saw the first main wave of tickets, which included tickets packaged with coach travel selling out in just 32 minutes, before General Admission tickets were all snapped up in 35 minutes.

Despite all tickets being sold out, there are currently several competitions running for the chance of winning Glastonbury 2025 tickets — Just recently, Brother Cider, who have once again been confirmed as the ‘Official Cider’ of Glastonbury Festival for 2025, announced that they are giving away 5 pairs of tickets to this year’s event.

Other chances for winning tickets to this year’s event include Vodafone, Chilly’s, Barbour & Oxfam, and more, as detailed in our daily updated list of Glastonbury competitions, here.

⚠️ Bogus Operators

Glastonbury Festival would like fans to be aware that there are people out there who will try to sell fake Glastonbury tickets to unsuspecting, willing and innocent potential purchasers. Although Glasto-veterans who have been going to the Festival for quite some time may recognise these scams for what they are, newcomers might not.

Please do not risk falling victim to touts, bogus operators or fake promotions / contests. If you have doubts about any company offering tickets, accommodation or competitions to access Glastonbury Festival, please get in touch with the Festival office – and as always, remember: tickets are sold only on one site, which is glastonbury.seetickets.com
