Glastonbury has revealed the line-up poster for its Woodsies Area and Stage, in preparation for the Festival’s highly anticipated return to Worthy Farm in Somerset this summer, from the 25th to the 29th of June — and ahead of its scheduled fallow year in 2026.
Announcing the news this morning (Thursday, 24th April) at 10am, Glasto officials shared the line-up poster (shown below), alongside a statement, saying: “The Woodsies Area 2025 line-up is here! Woodsies Main Stage presents an amazing range of the best of today’s music. Following a successful 2024 debut, the Tree Stage returns, offering an intimate, reconnective experience that blurs the boundary between nature, sound, and self. Dappled in sunlight during the day, the Woods become an enchanted fantasy land at night with an aerial walkway through the tree canopy. See you in the trees!”

Taking its name from the Worthy Farm fields it resides in, the Woodsies Area first made its debut in 2023, after occupying the spaces previously held by the John Peel Stage and The Woods.
While speaking to the Guardian in 2023, Festival organiser Emily Eavis said that the John Peel Stage would be replaced by “Woodsies” as part of a push to name stages after the fields that they stand in, such as West Holts and Silver Hayes.
A stone’s throw from Silver Hayes and San Remo, just north of the river and next to the Pyramid field, the Woodsies area combines the Woodsies Main Stage with the returning Tree Stage, which first appeared on site in 2024.
This area also features The Wood (complete with aerial walkways in the trees and interactive spaces) and the Wood’s Bar — making it a vibrant live music hub and alternative hang-out by day, which comes alive as a late-night, immersive area after the main stages close.

At the heart of the area, Woodsies Main Stage will offer the same raucous, effervescent and gloriously sweaty vibes as it always has from indie rock and pop, Irish rap, punk and metal to chart music and plenty more to get you dancing. The previously announced Four Tet will headline this stage on the Friday of the Festival, followed by Scissor Sisters on Saturday, and Jorja Smith on Sunday.
Some new additions who weren’t on the initial main line-up poster in March include Tom Odell, Black Country, New Road, The Amazons, Shed Seven, Sorry and Fat Dog. AJ Tracey also performed on the Woodsies tent, as will St. Vincent, Blossoms, JADE, TV On The Radio, Weezer, Djo, Myles Smith, Lola Young, Nova Twins and Pinkpantheress — as shown in the poster below.

“Woodsies Main Stage presents an amazing range of the best of today’s music, from established festival acts to the Glastonbury Festival Emerging Talent Competition winners. So be prepared to have your socks blown off,” organisers wrote.
Adding to the area’s eclectic sound, the Tree Stage returns for its second-ever year as Glastonbury’s first outdoor ambient-immersive stage, hosting high-profile and emerging electronica, laid-back listening experiences, awe-inspiring audio displays and ecological conversation — Some of the acts to feature on the Tree Stage include the likes of Hot Chip‘s Alexis Taylor, Daniel Avery, Jon Hopkins and Mary Anne Hobbs.

The Tree Stage is described as being “exposed to the elements” and sees “audiences gather around a towering oak tree totem, enveloped by the festival’s unique quadrophonic sound system for an intimate, reconnective experience that blurs the boundary between nature, sound, and self”.
In terms of its surroundings, the description added: “Dappled in sunlight during the day, the Woods become an enchanted fantasy land at night with an aerial walkway through the tree canopy. The Wood’s Bar offers two house bands playing rare grooves, world and jazz.”
More information about this majestic area can be found on the Woodsies page of Glastonbury’s official website.

Lineup News
Organisers have recently been gradually releasing separate line-up posters for the many areas, stages, and venues across the site in the run-up to this year’s Festival. Those who’ve been revealed so far include the Acoustic Stage, Field of Avalon, West Holts, Silver Hayes, Croissant Neuf, Shangri-La, Kidzfield, and most recently, Woodsies, as mentioned above.
Before the string of posters began to drop, the first main line-up poster was revealed earlier this year (6th March), in which it confirmed that headliners The 1975, (previously announced) Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo will all be taking to the iconic Pyramid Stage on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th, and Sunday 29th of June, respectively.
Rod Stewart was also announced as this year’s Sunday afternoon tea-time Legends slot performer. Other names featured in the ever-growing bill include Loyle Carner, Charli XCX, Biffy Clyro, The Maccabees, Lucy Dacus, Father John Misty, RAYE, Wolf Alice, The Prodigy, Doechii, St. Vincent, Gary Numan, Deftones, Scissor Sisters, The Libertines, Wet Leg — and first-time appearances from Alanis Morissette, Doechii and En Vogue.
More individual areas and stages lineups are expected to be announced over the coming weeks, before the full bill gets revealed sometime at the end of May / beginning of June.
That said, there are many artists who ‘self-confirm’ before the official announcements by divulging the news via interviews, social media or website listings to accompany the ever-growing Glasto rumours.

Build Progress
Meanwhile, with each passing day, in preparation for this year’s highly anticipated event, Worthy Farm is looking more and more like the world-famous Glastonbury Festival we all know and love.
The iconic Pyramid Stage finally began to get dressed earlier this month (10th April), after the covers (which were dropped off days earlier and lying on the ground beside the iconic structure) were raised and cloaked over the Port side of the pyramid skeleton, as seen in the visual post below.
And so it starts… The Pyramid Stage is finally starting to get her pretty party frock on in preparation for this year's Glastonbury Festival! 🙌✨ LET'S GO, GLASTO! 👗💃 pic.twitter.com/S0hRYlaiz9

With gates to the public on the 25th of June, and as more containers carrying equipment continue to arrive on-site intermittently, we can expect the build to grow in intensity as more iconic stages and venues come to life once again to create the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world.
You can now continue following the build via the BBC Glastonbury webcam, here.

Ticket Opportunities
Last November saw the first main wave of tickets, which included tickets packaged with coach travel, sell out in just 32 minutes, before General Admission tickets were all snapped up in 35 minutes.
The next chance to buy tickets will be when the first official resale takes place tonight (24th April) in the coach plus ticket packages resale, ahead of a general resale on Sunday morning (27th April).
In addition to the upcoming ticket re-sales, some other opportunities for getting to Glastonbury include volunteering and working at the Festival, as well as entering competitions (once those options make themselves available).
Just recently, Brother Cider, who have once again been confirmed as the ‘Official Cider’ of Glastonbury Festival for 2025, announced that they are giving away 5 pairs of tickets to this year’s event.
Other chances for winning tickets to this year’s event include Vodafone, Chilly’s, Barbour & Oxfam, and more, as detailed in our daily updated list of Glastonbury competitions, here.

⚠️ Bogus Operators
Glastonbury Festival would like fans to be aware that there are people out there who will try to sell fake Glastonbury tickets to unsuspecting, willing and innocent potential purchasers. Although Glasto-veterans who have been going to the Festival for quite some time may recognise these scams for what they are, newcomers might not.
Please do not risk falling victim to touts, bogus operators or fake promotions / contests. If you have doubts about any company offering tickets, accommodation or competitions to access Glastonbury Festival, please get in touch with the Festival office – and as always, remember: tickets are sold only on one site, which is glastonbury.seetickets.com
